Charge Pumps & Switched-Capacitor Building Blocks
LTC1043 - Dual Precision Instrumentation Switched-Capacitor Building Block.
3V to 18V supply, up to 5 MHz clock. The internal switches have a break-before-make action. An internal clock is
provided and its frequency can be adjusted with an external capacitor. The LTC1043 can also be driven
with an external CMOS clock. The LTC1043, when used with low clock frequencies, provides ultra
precision DC functions without requiring precise external components. Such functions are differential
voltage to single-ended conversion, voltage inversion, voltage multiplication and division by 2, 3, 4, 5, etc.
The LTC1043 can also be used for precise V-F and F-V circuits without trimming, and it is also a building
block for switched-capacitor filters, oscillators and modulators.

Ultra Stable Microwave Coax Cable
SLA67, SLA40, SLA26, SLA18 cables have dual shield with effectiveness above 100
dB. Cables are matched to the maximum frequency ranges of N, SMA,
2.29-mm, 1.85-mm and other popular connectors. Cables work up to 67
GHz, covering temperature range -65 to +200
C deg, with breakdown voltage 2 kV to 15 kV,
low capacitance of 25 pF/ft and 24 pF/ft. Silver-plated
inner and outer conductors and microporous polytetrafluorothylene (PTFE)
material provide the cables' low attenuation. Low loss, phase stability and
shielding effectiveness result from combining a helically served flat braid with
a second shield that provides a minimum round braid coverage of 97%.
Performance suits the cables for instrument-grade applications like
phase-network analyzer/vector-network analyzer (PNA/VNA) and phase-critical
functions, including electronic countermeasures (ECMs) and radar. Pricing

Ultra Small Piezoelectric Motor
SQL - Series, SQ-100 Series, SQUIGGLE Motor - The simple ceramic
motor operates on ultrasonic frequency and has only a few parts. It replaces
complex electromagnetic gearhead motors which have hundreds of parts.
Scalable to much smaller sizes than electromagnetic motors, without significant
loss of power efficiency. It can be made from non-ferrous metals.
Nanometer
resolution, variable speed from 1 µm/second to 10 mm/second, 5 Newton force,
dimensions 1.5 x 1.5 x 6 mm. Motor is driven by a two-channel sinusoidal or
square wave at an ultrasonic frequency of 40 kHz to 200 kHz, matching the
first bending resonant frequency of the threaded tube. This creates an orbital
motion whioch drives the screw.

Piezoelectric
actuators change shape when electrically excited. A SQUIGGLE motor consists of
several piezoelectric ceramic actuators attached to a threaded nut, with a
mating threaded screw inside. Applying power to the actuators creates
ultrasonic vibrations, causing the nut to vibrate in an orbit - similar to a
person’s hips in a “Hula Hoop.” The rotating nut turns the threaded screw,
creating a smooth in-and-out linear motion. The speed and position of the
threaded screw can be precisely controlled, and the screw holds its position
when the power is turned off. This piezoelectric motor has no parasitic drag, no
backlash, and very high stiffness. The piezoelectric actuator generates
powerful ultrasonic vibrations. A tiny, robust assembly, high force and speed,
quiet operation, vacuum and cryogenic compatibility (optional), no magnetic
fields. Thread friction drives the shaft, directly converting rotary
motion to linear motion. Thus no parasitic drag - less wasted power, zero
backlash with highest stiffness, nanometer resolution, high torque at low
speeds, with no gearbox, smooth velocity at microscopic speeds, off-power hold,
very small diameter of less than 2mm, manual screw rotation for off-power
positioning.
