EMF-BioShield USA Battles Harmful Effects of CRTs

                 A product originating in Europe, proven to cancel out the harmful
                 effects of computer monitors, TVs and other cathode ray tube
                 (CRT)-based products, is being introduced to America by
                 Encinitas-based EMF-BioShield USA.

                 In an age in which the Internet, video games and cable television have
                 become part of everyday life, the risks associated with CRT screen
                 exposure are being recognized by a growing number of scientists,
                 researchers and the general population. Recent studies in America
                 and Europe have confirmed that the low-frequency fields emitted by
                 computer and television screens disturb the balance of living cells,
                 leading to a variety of symptoms, including stress, headaches,
                 irritability, insomnia, eye strain, eyesight decline, abnormal general
                 fatigue, decrease in productivity, disorders in women’s menstrual
                 cycles, and hormonal disturbances. 

                 Special attention is being focused on the effects of CRT radiation on
                 today’s children, the first generation being raised in an era when
                 computers have become a common household appliance. Once the
                 subject of fierce debate, these risks now are being documented and
                 categorized as “electropollution.”

                 Over the last decade, researchers have discovered that it is possible
                 to neutralize or cancel out the harmful radiation emitting from CRT
                 screens by creating an electromagnetic barrier around the screen. The
                 EMF-BioShield protection system accomplishes this with two small
                 spheres (or mini-bulbs) of neutral plastic containing solutions of rare
                 earth salts with electromagnetic properties. Triggered by the electron
                 beams the monitor uses to refresh its images (at a rate of 60 to 75
                 times a second), the content of the mini-bulbs creates an
                 electromagnetic barrier around the protected screen. EMF-BioShield
                 thus eliminates the harmful biological effects of residual radiation
                 emitted by computer and television CRTs. The mini-bulbs are
                 self-sticking and are placed on the upper-left and lower-right corners of
                 the screen frame. The bulbs’ electromagnetic properties are effective
                 for 24 months, based on average computer or TV use of eight hours
                 per day.
